Java-who?
I'm Javamom. Java for coffee, not that technical computer stuff. I live with my family, which includes a very active toddler girl and a 4yo preschooler boy in a nice little neighbourhood in a big metropolitan city in a tiny house of perpetual renovations. What I dislike about public school
*The fact that I am invited to fork over money every single week for every conceivable thing imaginable. - - - -
*The fact that they push Scholastic books on kids to such a degree that they take them shopping at the book fair and send them home with a wish list. - - - -
*The fact that you no longer can pack snacks for your kids. - - - -
*The fact that you have to PAY money for snacks provided by the school. - - - -
*The fact that the "healthy snacks" include "cheese strings" and "apple sauce in a bag". - - - -
*The fact that they find it necessary to "teach" computer skills to 4 year olds. - - - -
*The fact that if you decide not to sign the form for the computer skills class you get the form back each week.Follow me
