Learning to speak…correctly

He says garola  which means granola, marote instead of remote, calls anyone with the name Ramone Marone (from the Cars movie) and still pronounces washcloth wafclof.

Edited to add due to temporary memory loss:

pontuter – computer
pasghetti – what else, spaghetti

For the record, I am not making fun of him. I think it’s kinda cute. But he is 3 years and 4 months old, and perhaps it’s time to start helping him to pronounce things correctly. Maybe. If I have time and I’m not too tired.

  1. My 5 year old has very few cutisms left in her speech. She still says “I hurted myself” and I am reluctant to correct her each time. It’s too fleeting, this young age!
