#hourlyphoto on Christmas day

With my plans changing every few hours (we’re now on plan j, or k or something…) I decided to join Andrea in the fishbowl on the #hourlyphoto challenge. So here are a few of the first photos I snapped:

8 am – and so it begins

Xmas morning

9 am – our guest dog Molly, who spent the night but wasn’t supposed to, glaring at Charlie the guinea pig, wondering if she can have him for Christmas breakfast.

10 am – she got her Easy Bake oven (it’s called ‘resignation’…sigh). She’s baking her tiny cookies (and we have discovered that patience is not a particularly big trait of her character…).

11 am – wondering what to do with the invasion of lego in this house…

12 pm – making Tortilla soupย  ๐Ÿ™‚

I may miss theย  next photo, which will be at 1 pm, because I may nap then… ๐Ÿ™‚

Yep. Missed 1 pm…was sleeping/hacking and not worrying about cameras… (there’s a cold going around that is causing me to cough everytime I lie down).

Here’s the 2 pm shot – he put his Lego Technik train together and…it works! (what have we done…)

At 3 pm we had Charlie the guinea pig out for a bit of exercise (now that Molly isn’t here anymore to terrorize him). I sat on the floor with the kids and watched him sniff, pee and poop all around us, with camera and phone handy.

4 pm – snow is for being outside and playing in it (since we have heat inside, unlike so many other people ๐Ÿ˜ฆ in Toronto)…

White Christmas!

5 pm – we did our Christmas dinner on Christmas eve, so tonight, with the rest of the family trying to get power back into their houses, the four of us had a quiet dinner of leftovers with a new type of Ceasar salad I wanted to try out.

6 pm – someone’s gotta do the cleanup…

dirty dishes...it never ends

Almost 7 pm – this coughing cold I have is leaving me exhausted. Last picture…facebook and wine. I’m off. Merry rest of Christmas. ๐Ÿ™‚
